She is a promising disciple of renowned Gurus such as Guru ant.Smita Shastri, SNA Awardee Dr.Sandhya Purecha and Padmabhushan Dr.Raja Radha Reddy.
Bijal has completed her MFA from Mumbai University under the able guidance of Dr.Sandhya Purecha and is further planning to pursue Ph.D under Guru Purecha ji. In 2014, she was awarded the Junior Fellowship for her research work from Gov. Of India.
Being the founder and director of Parampara Academy Of Performing Arts,†Bijal imparts her experience and wisdom in both the art forms to the younger generation in a pure and comprehensive way. And as a result students of Parampara are receiving scholarships from Gov.of.india. And also receiving medals in their Diploma degree courses from Sarfojiraje Centre,Mumbai.also performing in various festivals and competitions.
In her 25-year-long artistic journey, she has performed at several prestigious forums across India and internationally. She has earned awards and recognitions like Singar Mani, Nritya-Vilasini, Nritya-Ratna, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation award and more.
She has contributed towards the publication of the Abhinaya-Darpana and Ashta-Nayika written by Dr.A.M.Upadhyay and Assisted by Bijal Haria.
